Week 41 - Layers

I wanted to take a photo like this for a long time. There are multiple layers in this photo and each layer has a different brightness. The farther a layer is from the camera, the more faded it is. This photo was taken from the top of Mount Washington in New Hampshire.

A maple leaf on a wood.

This one was taken near Flume George, NH. The fall foliage was at its peak during this week and it was really colourful everywhere in New Hampshire.

Week 37 - Artists

There was an event called "Boston arts festival" (ähts) in Boston this weekend. Boston artists and craftspeople exhibited and sold original works of art including paintings, drawings, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, glass, woodwork, mixed media, and photography. Performance areas showcased music theater, dance and family friendly activities that reflected Boston's rich diversity and extraordinary cultural life.

People who were interested in painting were given watercolors and paper to try some painting. I also took the watercolor and painted the scene infront of me. After a very long time, I did some water coloring.

Week 34 - Niagara

I went to Niagara waterfalls this weekend. It was a tour package. We started from Boston on Saturday morning. Reached 1000 islands by 4 PM. 1000 islands is a group of small islands on the border of US and Canada. Since our Bus had a problem we had to wait at that place from 5 to 11 pm. Another bus came at 11 pm and took us to a hotel near Niagara waterfalls. We reached the hotel by 4 am and we slept till 11 am. At 11, we went to the Niagara water falls. We went for the 'Maid of the mist' and 'Cave of the winds' trips which took us closer to the waterfalls. The falls were illuminated at 8:30 PM. We returned from Niagara at 9:30 and reached Boston at 6 AM on Monday.

Week 33 - The Grunge flower

I took a lot of good photos this weekend, so I am posting more photos this week.

There has never been a day in my life where I have admired the sky so much. I woke up on saturday morning to see a bright and sunny day with a wonderful sky. The sky was very blue with lots of white clouds. So I took a lot of photos with the blue sky as the background, including some photos of mine ;-)

The Inidan community in Boston celebrated India's 59th Independence at Hatch Memorial Shell near the Charles River in Boston. A lot of Indians attended the function.

My favourite photo of this week is the grunge flower.

Week 32 - Bird

I was lazy this weekend and didn't take any good photo.

Week 28 - Its Italy

Italy became 2006 world cup champions by defeating France in the penalty shootout. The match was shown on the big screen at City Hall Plaza, Boston. There were more supporters for Italy than France there. The photo shows the crowd cheering after Italy scored the winning goal.
